The emergence of Web 2.0 services, enabled by a range of maturing internet technologies and often built around user generated content, creates a unique set of challenges and opportunities for telecoms operators – how can they best exploit Web 2.0 technologies to deliver the services their customers demand and how can they leverage their unique role as network providers to protect and enhance their competitive position against the emerging Web 2.0 media giants? Telecoms Web 2.0 delivers two intense and highly interactive conference days built around case studies from operators who are developing strategies to maximise the availability of Web 2.0 services over their networks and leading Web 2.0 companies who are pioneering a multitude of content rich services. The event also features highly interactive, structured, debating sessions on operator investment strategies, Web 2.0 service development and new revenue opportunities for operators and includes pre-conference briefings on Web 2.0 applications development and the evolution of social network community-based businesses.
